Although many Americans consider themselves alone in the world of school shootings the fact is they occur around the world. The answer obviously must not be the media or the American culture since other places are not affected by that, or in the case of the media, affected differently. So the question remains what causes school shootings? What are the motives? In a case study, we will examine information on three separate foreign school shootings and see if a common motive appears in all three.
